3D Embossing machine operation manual
LMV520-3D Embossing machine, adopt hydraulic way to emboss
design,with pressure maximum about 30ton. Accurate location for up and
down board,compact structure, nice appearance,stable running; adopt
servo system control,simple operation and high production efficiency,
suitable for different blanket embossing ,especially suitable for repeated
design.This machine has single emboss and coutinuous emboss
mode,also can run manually as normal traditional embossing machine.
Special notice: When machine is running, hand is forbidden to put
into any part of the design board and any running parts of machine,
to avoid accident.
The "direction" of manual all takes fabric enter side as reference.
1.Usage:
The machine is suitable for blanket design embossing, after
embossing,blanket will be more beautiful and will not damage its original
soft and good hand feeling.

3.Machine structure
The machine is mainly consisted by centering device, guiding roller feeding
device,machine main body,servo location device,fabric exit folding and
suction radiating device.
4.Machine installation and adjustment
Before machine installation,we should make sure the ground is flat and
machne main body is put on same horizontal height on ground,then fix
machine rack and main body tightly, check and fix all related screws.
Before machine adjustment,make sure all electric wire is proper connected,
the machine adopts 3 phrase 4 wire, voltage 380V(±10%), check motor
rotary direction of hydraulic pump if it's clockwise,expanding roller rotary direction is to spread fabric.Before run machine add oil for board pillars.
5.Machine operation
Before running machine please read this manual carefully.
Introduction for buttons of control panel:
The machine can be controlled by touch screen or control panel at lateral
part of machine, control type adjusted by converter at lateral part.
Touch screen operation:
1)power indicator light::if the light is bright it means machine power is
connected,the touch screen is bright also.
2)Urgent button:The button is used to stop machine urgently,press the
button then all electricity of machine turns off.
3)Touch screen:
Heat on/off button:This button controls heating of machine.
Hydraumatic on:Press button hydraumatic pump runs,then press
"embossing"button or "run"button,oil pump starts to work,2 minutes
later(without any operation and embossing), oil pump turn off automatically.
Forward/backward:when up design board is lifting,press this button 0.5-2
seconds(time adjustable),guiding roller speed is the speed by manual
setting, exceed this setting time,guiding roller speed is the speed by
automatic setting; when up board falls down,this button not works.
Stop:when guiding roller runs, press this button stop fabric feeding,when
embossing,press this button stop embossing and up board rises.
Run:press this button to start machine,embossing first then fabric feeding.
Once/continue function button:when it shows "once",after machine
runs,only emboss 1 piece of blanket and fabric going forward once.(after
embossing,automatic feeding fabric to the set length then stop), when
shows "continue"function,after machine runs,machine continuous
embossing ,till press "stop" or "urgent stop" to stop machine.
On :press this button to emboss once.
Setting of board space and fabric space:board space means space
between each embossing,fabric space means space between each fabric,
if it's continuous embossing then board space equals to fabric space.
This data can input by input field, or input by below +/- button .
4)Parameter setting
In this screen can set embossing temperature, manual fabric
speed,backward speed,automatic speed,embossing time, total embossing
reset.
down board fabric delay:It means the time between up board lifting and
fabric feeding,if too short for this time,when up and down board is not
separated fabric starts feeding,which will break fabric. If too long time will
reduce production efficiency.
up board delay:It means after fabric feeds to set location the time up
board declines,the reserve time is used to adjust board space by forward
and backward button, if no need to adjust it can set minimum value(0.2second),the less this time ,the higher production efficiency will be.
Decline time:It means the up board decline time, normally adjust to get up
and down board touching tightly.(after two board touching tightly, they will
automatically lock)
If too long time will cause high temperature for oil pump.
Rise time:It means up board rising time,if time is short up and down board
will get small space, if long time will affect fabric feeding speed.
Jog time:forward/backward button shows time of jog speed working,
exceed set time the speed will be working time.
Working time: time for up and down board touching together.
board quantity of each roll: total board quantity needed for each blanket
roll, if it's continuous embossing, this set to 1.
4)Board exchange modification panel
Press "rise" button for up board,start oil pump,after rise up board,loosen
"rise" button,oil pump stop delay 2 seconds.
Press "decline" button for up board,start oil pump,after decline up board,
loosen the button,oil pump stop delay 2 seconds.
Press "rise" button for down board,down board rises,when rise to the space
smaller than set space,stop working.
Press "decline" button,down board declines,when declines to the space
bigger than 330mm(machine max space),stop working.
Machine lateral control panel operation
1.forward: function same as touch screen.
2.Backward:function same as touch screen.
3.Run/stop:when it set a manual location,press this button it means once
embossing. When it set at other location it means start embossing
program.
4.Front/back control convert button
5.Stop button
6.Once-manual-continuous button
Remarks:Either in touch screen mode or lateral control panel
mode,the "stop" button is both available to control machine.
Machine operation:
1.Before run the machine,make sure board space for each blanket.Confirm
continuous design or once design(it means space between two
embossing),input this space into "board space" on control screen.
2.Once embossing operation:
Put function button to "once".
Press "run" button,machine start embossing program,after embossing
design,fabric feeds to set location then stop.Now can use "forward"
"backward" button to adjust fabric to proper location.
Repeat above operation,machine will proceed first embossing then feeding
fabric to proper location,repeat this process.
3.Continuous embossing operation:
Put function button to "continuous".
Press "run" button,machine starts automatically running,first machine runs
from embossing,
embossing---fabric feeding---embossing---fabric feeding---until press "stop"
or "urgent stop" to stop machine.
4.Manual embossing operation
After press "stop" button, machine can run manually embossing
operation.press "forward" to feed fabric,after fabric feeding to proper
location loosen the button, press "embossing" button, start embossing
once.
5.First design embossing needs to adopt location manually, press "forward"
"backward" button to adjust fabric to proper location,can set function button
to "once" or "continuous",press "run" button to start machine.
6.If any location difference during automatic embossing,can adjust
embossing space value properly to locate fabric accurately.(through input
number or -/+ button to adjust directly)
7.Up board space adjustment:
This is set by machine manufacturer,customer can not adjust freely.
5)Automatic centering device operation
1.This device has automatic and manual two type control.When the button
set to "manual",can adjust fabric by "left" and "right" button.
2.When the button set to "automatic",the device adjust centering angle
upon fabric condition,keep fabric in the middle or a fixed value to the
middle part.(the difference fixed value is decided by centering roller).
3.The deviation value of centering device is limited,the fabric requires to
keep at middle of centering device, within range of 20mm from left side to
right side.
4.After fabric goes onto centering device,if fabric always tends to go to one
side,this means the fabric location before going onto the device is not
proper, we should move the fabric to the opposite location until centering
device working normally.
6) Board exchange
When machine needs to change board,the operation as below:
Press "decline" button for up board,make to decline to the space
330mm higher between with down board.The machine adopt high
temperature glue to stick up and down design board to the baseboard.if
needs to change design board,first increase temperature to 210degree,use
flat mouth crowbar (send with machine) to impact lightly around edge of
design board and unclench it,with a soft felt putting under design board (to
avoid up board decline),then clean up and down design board. If up and
down board is synchronized mould,first fix down board, then put up board
onto corresponding location of down board, put high temperature glue (put
on four edges and middle part), change touch screen to board exchange
screen,press "decline" button to decline up board to the lowest
position, then press "rise" to rise down board to make them coming
together tightly,keeps this condition 60minutes then finish.
If just use up board, decline this onto down board and fix proper position,
then add high temperature glue(four edges and middle part), change touch
screen to modification screen,press "decline" for up board,make it decline
to lowest position.then press "rise" button for down board,make two boards
touching tightly and keep this condition 60minutes then finish.
7) Notice
1.Before machine operation,check if any staff under design board,to avoid
damage when board declines.
2.The space between up and down board is not proper to adjust too
small,to avoid machine damage, after up and down board touching
properly then decline 3-5mm ,take this as stardard.
3.Machine board pillar should add lubricating oil everyday.
8)Solution for normal fault.
1.Automatic turn off heating,screen shows heating fault. This
situation happens during heating for board exchange, solution is to
restart heating.
2.Light design figure for embossing.Check heating temperature,embossing
time and embossing space.
3.Forward side or corsswise side has part not good embossing
design.Check if any problem on heating tubes.
Four edges or one side not good embossing design, check if any air
towards machine ,makes some temperature radiating quickly.
4.Embossing location big difference.If any big resistance at fabric enter
part? If there is resistance this will affects uneven tension for fabric,then not
accurate location.
5.Left and right side big difference on down baord for fabric. First check if
proper position for fabric before enter onto machine.(this position refer to
centering device operation).This centering device only is suitable for fabric
in folding type,not suitable for rolling or disorder fabric.If needs fabric
moving to one side,can adjust centering button.
6.Winding not work or stop(tensionless winding type). This winding device
is working at same time with transmission belt (with 0.5second delay) and
adopt photoelectricity control,winding is controlled by automatic belt,if this
belt stop there is some delay time (0.5-6second adjustable), make sure
each embossing fabric can wind properly.When fabric winds to top
limit(stay bar), it will stop winding automatically.If any barrier between
photoelectricity can affect winding stop(machine can take this mistake for
fabric reaching top limit),if broken for photoelectricity,then after fabric
reaches top limit winding will not stop.
When machine runs, can press "forward" "backward" button to wind fabric.
7.Machine not proceed embossing.Press "embossing" button but machine
not work.check embossing time if it's set at "0",heating temperature if
exceed set one(30degree) or shows heating fault.if shows embossing time
is normal,please check embossing output relay and magnetic valve if
normal or not.
8.Fabric not feeding.first make sure electricity is connoected to machine
and feeding speed not "0",change to touch screen control,press "forward"
"backward" button,if still not feed fabric(if machine runs,this means lateral
side switch button has problem please change to new one),please open
electric carbinet, check the code showed on servo dirver,normally it shows
"RUN".
If driver fault(exact code refer to manual),turn off electricity of servo
driver,after code disappeared turn on it again,now showing fault can reset.
9.There is shake sound during run or stop of guiding roller, please check if
any loose condition for screws of reducer fixed seat. Check running speed
if too high or not, this machine maximum running speed is 36m/min. Speed
beyond this speed will happen shake sound and also reduce running life
for machine,so recommended speed is 20-30m/min.
10.Press "rise" "decline" button for down board but board do not
moves.
When this situation happens,check if any problem for sensor, if any
fault for 4 lifting screws, if all its' normal, press "stop" button( on
touch screen or lateral side button) for at least 5 seconds,then fault is
solved. If this fault repeated happens,this means down board lifting
has fault, should stop machine,check exact reason then restart
machine again.
9.Machine maintenance
1)After new machine runs 1 month later,check each part screw if any
loose ,move and abnormal,fix all tightly. Check connection condition
between driving motor and reducer , if big tick difference value this will
damage motor and reducer. If reducer and driver not wroks in same shaft
we should adjust in time,to avoid driving shaft or reducer damage.
Check each chain tightness,keep it at proper condition.
2.After each 6 months machine should make complete inspection.check
motor and reducer if any damage,tightness of chain if proper or not, screws
if any loose,if any broken for bearings.
3.Reducer should add lubricating oil every year.
